Yolanda Bivins
As a Manager of Resident Development, Yolanda Bivins coaches and trains NTR Residents in several of our partner schools. Yolanda manages the design, implementation, programming, and professional development for our Mentor Teachers and works to develop and support the Lead Teaching Classes for NTR Residents. Prior to this position, Yolanda worked for Houston Independent School District, where she served as a Teacher Development Specialist transforming historically low-performing Title I Campuses. Yolanda has over 22 years of experience successfully supporting and educating students from 1st grade to college freshmen at Lone Star College. Yolanda holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Interdisciplinary Studies from Prairie View A&M University in Prairie View, TX, and a Master’s Degree in Education in School Counseling from Lipscomb University.
