Danielle Dorris serves as the Sr. Manager of Data for Nashville Teacher Residency. In this role, Danielle leads the design and implementation of data systems that drive continuous improvement at NTR and collaborates closely with leadership to align data practices with NTR’s mission, equity commitments, and long-term goals.
Danielle began her career as a Teach for America Corps Member here in Nashville, TN. She taught high school English and AP Literature at a local Nashville public charter school for several years, before transitioning to work in Human Resources, Licensure, and Hiring for a charter network. In that role, she discovered her passion for teacher licensure and expanding pathways for teachers to become fully licensed educators!
Danielle holds a Bachelor’s in English Literature from Washington and Lee University and a Master of Arts in Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, with a concentration in Secondary English Education.
